On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, firefighters from Tinton Falls, New Jersey, rescued Sambuca, a small 18-month-old miniature Schnauzer, from an unusual place. The canine somehow wedged himself underneath the dishwasher and got stuck.
Fire rescue crews from Station 1 received the call around 5:15 p.m. and immediately headed to the residence. When they arrived, they found a scared, black dog, waiting to be free from a small gap between the kitchen floor and the dishwasher’s door.
Inexplicably, Sambuca’s rear legs and hips got stuck underneath the dishwasher’s door, but thanks to the hero rescuers, the tiny pet was safely removed.
The canine did not suffer any injuries. He is one lucky dog!
