Pam Davidson lives in Manitoba-Winnipeg, Canada, and suffers from Parkinson’s disease. On Dec. 2, 2014, her companion pet, a purebred collie named Nell, went missing from her home, but thanks to a Good Samaritan, the woman and her dog were reunited a week later.
Nell had been let out to potty when he wandered a little bit too far from home. A man driving by saw the dog near the high traffic road, stopped to make sure the dog wouldn’t be harmed, and thinking the dog was lost, the man took the dog home and cared for it.
However, a few days later, thanks to a CTV newscast the animal lover learned Nell had a caring owner and was missed at home.
The man immediately contacted Winnipeg Lost Dog Alert and arrangements were made to have Nell driven back home.
Davidson and her best friend are back together again.
