Finnish dog competition Koira Mestari is designed to showcase dogs with exceptional focus, obedience, and speed. One competitor failed miserably at all three, but won everybody’s hearts.
Dogs in the event were meant to run down a carpet lined with distractions – food, water, and toys. The first two handled it with ease and sailed right past the temptations.
But competitor number three knows what a winner really is – the one who gets the most food – and he happily grabbed toys and scarfed down every morsel he could before being hauled away by his embarrassed owner.
He may not have won the competition, but he certainly won the judges hearts, who enthusiastically applauded him.
