Meet Gluta. This gal not only has a gorgeous smile, but an incredible will to live. She’s not even supposed to be alive, but she’s beaten death many times, and is now one of the happiest dogs on this planet.
It has been said that some of the most depressed people bring the most joy to others because they know how it feels to be down. That might be the case for Gluta – or maybe she’s just happy to be doing so well.
She was living on the streets of Thailand before being rescued by videographer Sorasart Wisetsin. Soon after she was diagnosed with metritis, an inflammatory infection of her uterine wall, requiring that she undergo a hysterectomy.
Next came the diagnosis of cervical cancer. Gluta spent the next couple of years enduring chemotherapy and a laser treatment to remove a deadly tumor.
Now that she’s healthy, she’s got the good life. She has a rescue brother named Gollum, who was saved after being hit by a car. They get to frolic through lots of beautiful gardens, taking in all of nature’s wonderful smells.
Because of her never-ending smile, she has been dubbed the “happiest dog in the world.” She can be seen and loved by people everywhere on Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr.
