Chicago rescue group was shocked to learn one of their rescued dogs had been shot over 50 times with a BB gun, but not to worry, the dog is in good health now and has found a forever home.

Jack’s journey to finding his forever friend began in June 2013, when the adorable dapple Dachshund mix was surrendered by his former owner to the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter
“Nobody wants to take a dog that you don’t know what kind of life they’ve had,” Mariesa said. “He’s had a terrible life! He’s not been loved or taken care of as much as he deserves to be, and he’s still a wonderful, loving companion.”
