Worried family members headed out to look for a missing fisherman and when they arrived at the beach they found the man's dog sitting near the shore, guarding his owner's fishing gear.
“I have turned down the ambassador job because the dog you see on that picture is very hairy, and the hot climate of Brasilia could harm his health,” Angelino Garzon said.
"Dressing My Best Friend" is a campaign taking place in Argentina where animal lovers collect clothing materials they use to create pet sweaters and jackets for street dogs.
“We knew we could cure him, but were astounded at what a fantastic dog had been hidden beneath the disease and depression that riddled him when he first came in.”
Highway workers rescued a mixed dog that was hit by a car and left injured in a ditch. If it wasn't for the workers the dog would have died from his injuries.
