Two dogs rescued from a garbage container were taken to Wichita Animal Shelter. The pets were dehydrated and under weight, but with some TLC they are expected to make a full recovery.
Since being attacked by a dog, a 17-year-old girl stopped going out all to avoid any dog encounters. Thanks to two police dogs, the girl has now overcome her fears and once again enjoys the company of pets.
A Facebook page has been started in support of the slain dog, as well as a petition calling for disciplinary action to be taken against the flippant officer.
“Witnesses say the officers followed the dogs into the backyard,” Starr said. “One witness told me, ‘your animals were perfectly fine until we could no longer see them.’”
A Toronto pet owner and her dog were out walking when they hear a loud bang. People ran and the pet let out a yelp. In the commotion, the dog owner did not realized her pet was hurt.
While on a high-speed chase, four the criminals threw a puppy from a moving car. Fortunately troopers recovered the dog and the four criminals were later arrested.
A 13-year-old Golden retriever mix fell along a break wall in Spitzer Marina, Ohio. The dog needed the help of firefighters to get back on safe ground.
