Chicago rescue group was shocked to learn one of their rescued dogs had been shot over 50 times with a BB gun, but not to worry, the dog is in good health now and has found a forever home.
“My wife was in tears, as she left him, saying, ‘I am sorry, I am sorry,’” the husband said. “He’s being well taken care of and, boy, we’re just so extremely grateful.”
A senior dog suffering from noncontagious demodectic mange was left outside a shelter with a heart-breaking note. Luckily for the pet, he was given a second chance in life and he is now trying to get back home.
“We are really eager to find more people in Russia who would like to have our dogs. But until people (here) want our dogs, we will do our best to ship the dogs anywhere in the world.”
Since the passing of his owner, Cody has been at the shelter. A Good Samaritan offered to pay the adoption fee, but no one has come forward to offer the dog a new home.
