“My wife was in tears, as she left him, saying, ‘I am sorry, I am sorry,’” the husband said. “He’s being well taken care of and, boy, we’re just so extremely grateful.”
A month after placing Pedro in his new home, his rescuer started receiving phone calls letting her know that they had seen the dog back on the streets, but Leonor Zamora said that was impossible.
“I want to thank TLP, everyone who donated and everyone who supported us through this. Thank you so much. The smile on my daughter's face to have her dog back home is priceless.”
