A small dog from Mainlands, Fla., was being walked on March 5, 2015, when the pet broke lose from the leash and ended up falling into the water. The frantic dog walker called authorities for help after the scared dog struggled to swim and was being washed away to open sea.

How many of us have pets that whenever they see us packing our bags, they immediately go and sit on top of the luggage as if to say “you’re not going anywhere without me.” Well, a woman from New York almost checked in her Chihuahua after the pet owner was unaware she accidentally packed up her small pet.

When Trinity was found last month in Lexington, Ky., she was scared, hungry, pregnant and injured. The stray dog was caught in a hunting trap and lost her right rear leg. She somehow free herself from the trap and wandered into a law office in Floyd County, where Good Samaritans rescued her and took her to Woodstock Spay and Neuter Clinic.
