Chipper failed out of the therapy dog program when she reached her rebellious adolescent stage and started barking at sweet little old ladies. The four-legged “failure” quickly discovered that when one doggy door closes, another one opens.
Though he spends much of his time competing in flyball, agility, dock diving, and weight pull, he takes the occasional break to cuddle up with chickies and ducklings.
“Without our dog, I would miss the beauty of all their overlapping natures. The interspecies walls vanish. They're all brothers, and we call them that.”

Tie will now be living on a 100-acre property with parents who can take her and their other dog with them to their office jobs during the day so they won’t be lonely.
She must have been in the streets for so long as her fur was hanging from her skin in balls. She was extremely dirty and smelly, yet had the sweetest and most gentle eyes I have ever seen. The only move she made was to wag her tail when someone spoke to her.
"She’s a female, so I named her 'IV' without the 'Y' as sort of a play on words. Somebody had to physically type in that name and they didn’t pay any bit of attention to it," he says.
