“My wife was in tears, as she left him, saying, ‘I am sorry, I am sorry,’” the husband said. “He’s being well taken care of and, boy, we’re just so extremely grateful.”

An American tourist enlisted the help of a South American rescue group to find and care for a street dog while she arranges transport to bring the pet to American.
“Let’s call things by their real name. These dogs are biological trash,” said Alexei Sorokin, the owner of Basya (Basia) Services, who is in charge of rounding up dogs and disposing of them.
