According to official reports, the rescue group Start Over Rover has pulled 16 dogs of various age from a puppy mill in northwest Kansas. They were also assisted by Volunteers from an animal shelter in Hastings in this courageous rescue.
“And as states like Indiana and Wisconsin and Ohio start to crack down on these type of facilities, we don’t want Michigan to be somewhere where they are looking to move to,” said Jill Fritz of the HSUS.
“If you don’t want to change your way of doing business, I will not lose a wink of sleep knowing that we’ve put a bad business out of business in this city,” Susana Mendoza said.
Confira:
“They’re all going the vet right now, in trips of about 10 a day, and looking forward to getting great new homes. They’re getting good nutritious food here, and learning to play with other dogs.”
