Yesterday South Dakota’s ban on breed specific legislation went into effect, leading citizens to call July 1^st Dog Breed Independence Day.

Discriminating against dog breeds is just as bad, if not worse, as human racism, because dogs cannot speak up for themselves, and all breed bans do is keep loyal and loving dogs in the hands of people who turn them into monsters.
