Big Dog Ranch Rescue (BDRR) from Wellington, Fla., is helping a pregnant dog recover from extensive burns to her torso after the dog was purposely set on fire.

Authorities don’t know who could have committed this cruel act, but they believe the terrier mix named Taya (previously Nina) was forced to walk through a fire or thrown into one.

The Bradbury family was beside themselves after hearing that the shelter their dog was staying at had been on fire, and their dog was nowhere to be found.  This past Christmas, the family got a wish come true.  Leo was found safe and sound, and has now been returned to his family.

On Black Friday, a black Labrador named Bailey saved the life of his owner Mary Greenfield and also the lives of five other pets when the dog alerted the pet owner that their Ohio home was on fire.

The fire started around 12:30 p.m. after Greenfield had come back home from working a Black Friday shift at Kohl’s.

A home from the east side of Detroit caught fire earlier this morning and local firefighters were called to the scene to help rescue four residents and a three-year-old Shih-tzu poodle named Cream.

A person walking in front of the house noticed smoke coming from the house and called the fire department. Once rescuers arrived they fought off flames and rescued the trapped residents.
