When the Jeter family from Lake Worth, Fla., came home this past February, their hearts broke when they realized their Pit bull named Phantom was missing. They searched their neighborhood day and night, but the dog seemed to be forever gone. Three months later, Phantom was spotted running on a busy street and taken to Animal Care and Control, and thanks to his microchip and Facebook, the Jeters were reunited with their dog.
On June 7, 2014, Turkish firefighters tried saving eight puppies that were trapped inside a drainage canal, however they were unable to because the pipe was too narrow for them to fit through and reach the dogs. Don’t worry, all puppies are alive and well. Their mom, a stray dog, came to their rescue.
John Legend and his girlfriend Chrissy Teigen have two adorable puppies already, and with a photo update to the singer’s Instagram account on the 8th of June, announced they have added a third member to their family.
“As we near our goal of a no-kill nation by 2015, we are thrilled at the sheer number of people who visited all of the locations over the weekend,” said Maddie's Fund president Rich Avanzino.
A couple from Fort Morgan heard about Eileen’s story and were touched by it. The couple decided to give Eileen a 13-week-old dachshund puppy. Savannah is the name of the new edition to the Trujillo house, and Eileen couldn’t be happier.
