On February 9, 2015, a three to six-month-old terrier puppy from Tucson, Ariz., was hit by car and left for dead on the side of Drexel Road, but thanks to an animal lover who stopped and helped the injured puppy, the dog is on her road to recovery.

The young dog, now called Charity, was left with fractured hind legs, pelvis and femur. Even though she was unable to walk or stand when found, veterinarians are hopeful the puppy will be able to walk again because the pet never lost her ability to wiggle her tail.

On January 24, 2015, Gary West from Muncie, Ind., went to work and as he parked his car in the back of his family business, he heard dog cries coming from a nearby dumpster. The concerned man checked the container and found a German shepherd puppy abandoned in the bin laying on piles of trash.

A 60-year-old man from  Sao Paulo, Brazil, is  praising firefighters as heroes. This after the men rescued the man’s five-month-old puppy from an underground pipe. The dog fell through an uncovered drain and became stuck.

On January 22, 2015, the Brazilian pet owner called authorities after discovering his small dog had gone missing and hearing dog cries from the uncovered drain.

Last week, officer Allen Speed and Paul Garcia were traveling down I-30 in Forth Worth, Texas, when they spotted a small terrier running down the highway. The female dog was scared and disoriented, and thanks to the officers, the pet, now named Beach, was rescued.

Firefighters from Lima, Peru, were responding to a automobile collision when their rescue mission switched from rescuing humans to rescuing a canine.

A police officer from Bogota, Colombia, was keeping the streets safe when he heard frightened dog cries from a nearby wetland. It was dark and without hesitation he called on fellow officers to help him save the dog in need.
