Voltado para o público infantil, o livro “Resgate Animal” é um projeto inovador, educativo e recreativo que convida crianças a brincar de super-herói, colocando os animais onde eles realmente devem estar.

O maior objetivo do livro é conscientizar os pequenos de forma lúdica, leve e bastante divertida sobre o cuidado e respeito que devemos ter com os animais e o nosso planeta.

On June 18, 2015, Amparo, Ana Rama, and Tere Sanchez, three women who work in animal rescue in Cartagena, Spain, with El Portalico saved two four-month-old puppies who were dumped in a tar well. The mixed puppies were covered in oil, and thanks to the women’s non-stop efforts to save them, the dogs now named Chapa and Pote, are alive.

Animal lovers are criticizing the metro line for penalizing the hero woman for doing what they were afraid to do – risk their lives for the live of a dog.

There is no reason to abuse animals, but somehow animal abuse happens daily. In Cartagena, Colombia, two stray dogs were rescued by neighbors and transported to a local animal organization after the pets were found in excruciating pain.

The first dog was doused in hot water and sustained third-degree burns on his torso and front, right leg. The stray was also beaten with an unknown object, and the beating left him with a broken leg (same leg that sustained most of the burns).

On January 6, 2015, Chicago-based rescue organization One Tail at a Time (OTAT) rescued an 85 pound Beagle after the pet’s elderly owners surrendered him to Chicago Animal Care & Control.

On November 18, 2014, a hairy small dog from Norden, England, hopped on the number 444 bus after his owner abandoned him. The dog seemed scared and nervous, but passengers made sure the little dog was taken to an animal rescue.

On November 30, 2014, Pets Without a Home (Animales Sin Hogar), an animal rescue organization from Montevideo, Uruguay, received a plea to help a mutilated dog taking refuge in a make-shift dog house in a backyard. No knows who the dog belongs to, who abused him, or how the tortured dog arrived at the home, but the little dog, now named Nick, had all four limbs and one of his ears mutilated, in addition to having part of his nose missing.
