Mike Petrosino has been fighting cancer since he was in the 8th grade. Now the doctors have told the 21-year-old that it is unlikely he will see the new year. Mike has been saying goodbye to friends and family, and a picture of one special goodbye to his childhood dog Rusty quickly has gone viral.
A Collie named Iggy was enjoying chasing seagulls in East Sussex, England when he fell over a cliff as his owners watched horrified. Iggy miraculously survived the 300 foot fall.
Last Friday someone spotted an addition to their Ohio town’s nativity scene, a sleeping pit bull. The dog was injured sought shelter in the nativity scene’s manger. Now the dog, named Gabriel, is in the care of a foster family.
“All too often those housing seized animals are punished for taking in animals involved in cases of animal cruelty. This new law will allow these organizations, that are often overcrowded and underfunded, to recoup a reasonable cost for the care of these animals.”
“Donations began pouring as the news spread of River and his owner’s heartbreaking story. River’s dad has been overwhelmed by the generosity and outpouring of support,” the Chester Foundation wrote.
