She was also the first patient in the country to survive the deadly disease. However, while Romero and her husband Javier were placed in isolation, their dog Excalibur was euthanized? by authorities after they feared the dog could be carrying the disease and infect other people.

Social Media Helps Get Injured Dog Rescued

A concerned animal lover took to social media to ask for help. The social media user wanted an abused and injured dog rescued from an abusive situation.
