Lost Dog

Gabrielle Cowgill-Wilkins from Greenbelt, Md., was devastated when she came home on October 15, 2014, to find her home ransacked and her 10-year-old boxer, named Arwyn, missing. For multiple days the pet owner searched the area hoping to find her pet. She posted signs and hoped someone had seen the dog somewhere. Thanks to a tip, Cowgill-Wilkins and her dog were reunited.

On Halloween night, an American bulldog named Charlee got lost in Willows Beach, British Columbia, Canada, when fireworks went off and the dog took off in a panic. It took the dog’s owner, Chris Rempel, and his friends 19 hours to find the terrified lost dog.

Rempel’s brother in law and a friend took Charlee to Willows Beach around 9 p.m. on October 31, 2014, for a late night walk. When fireworks started, the dog took off into the darkness and the dog walkers couldn’t find the spooked pet.

Doko, a small dog originally from Chile, has quite a tale to tell after he was lost during transport in a Spanish airport.

For Remberto Latorre, Doko’s owner, the five days his dog was lost in Madrid, were the longest days of his life.

Latorre and Doko temporarily lived in Hungary while the dog owner finished his Masters degree. Latorre’s parents traveled from Chile to Hungary to pick up the pet and bring him back home, but when they arrived in Madrid on October 19, 2014, Doko somehow escaped his travel crate and got lost in Spain’s capital.
