Rescued! Chubby Dog Trapped in Iron Fence

 

A mischievous dog from Chile wedged himself in between the posts of an iron fence and needed volunteer firefighters to come to his rescue.

The hero rescuers are not sure why the dog was trapped in the fence. The pet probably wanted to chase after another dog and thought he could squeeze through the iron bars, but when his robust frame didn’t give way, the dog was left yelping for help.

Texas Officer Saves Dog’s Life Twice

The first time officer Aaron Morgan, from Pantego, Texas, saved Ginger’s life, was back in September when he was off duty, visiting relatives in Arlington, Texas. The rookie officer heard the yelps of a dog and when he peeked through the fence, he found a young boy beating, choking and kicking the tan color, seven-month-old dog.

Things were not looking very good for an abandoned puppy found in a milk crate in Chicago Heights last week.  The three-month-old hound mix was brought to the South Suburban Human Society, severely underweight.

Ocean Beach Lifeguard Uses Surfboard to Rescue a Dog

On Nov. 5, 2014, Joey Riley was walking her 13-year-old German wirehaired dog named Rita, on the Dog Beach near the San Diego River in San Diego, Calif., when the senior dog got stuck in the river bed. Rita was submerged in mud up to her neck and needed immediate rescue.

Thankfully, a lifeguard was nearby and using his surfboard, he paddled towards the dog and saved her from her the mud.

Abandoned Dogs Rescued from Garbage Dump

In Canada, the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) rescued 20 abandoned animals from a garbage dump in a rural area just outside of Calagary.

AARCS was called to check on a couple of injured dogs spotted at the garbage dump, but when rescuers arrived they found multiple litters of puppies, older dogs and cats living among the garbage.
