Is there such a thing as too much dog love?  Well, when it comes to ear-licking, yes.  Yes, there is.  But not when it comes to a dog who has a song played especially for him!

Some people may believe that dogs don’t really like being put on swings and slides, but those people have never seen THESE dogs.  Kiddies, beware – dogs may soon be taking over your playgrounds!

Puppies are curious creatures, and often while exploring, they find themselves getting stuck in things.  Many would be tempted to help them, but as with children, there are some things they just have to figure out how to do on their own!

On May 31, 2014, Winthrop, Wash., residents witnessed how Okanogan County’s Swiftwater Rescue Team retrieved Jessie, a border collie-heeler mix, from the bed of a pickup truck that had rolled into the Chewuch River.

Puppies rescued from an abandoned house

The Michigan Humane Society Cruelty and Rescue hotline received a call about puppies left in an abandoned house in Detroit.

When the MHS team arrived and looked through the window, they noticed two young, skinny puppies. It was clear that their health was in poor condition and they were in danger.

Once the team gained access to the house, the puppies excitedly greeted them. Yet, they were cold, hungry, and in desperate need of care.

This military style rescue mission took Eldad Hagar of Hope for Paws three days and involved driving more than 1,000 miles and an unyielding willpower to save four dogs that would have otherwise died from infections or starvation in the Mojave Desert.
