This past November, a beautiful and friendly dog, now named Oatmeal, was found inside the fenced yard of an ATT&T building in Rosamond, Calif. The dog had her legs bound together and it is believed she was thrown over the fence and left to die by her previous owner(s). Luckily she was found and rescued.

On Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, a Rottweiler survived being thrown from a moving car while trapped inside a sleeping bag. The car was traveling in Queens, NYC, near the Jackie Robinson Parkway. The dog was saved thanks to other motorists who witnessed the cruel act.

A woman from A Coruña, Spain, discovered an injured, male, Bull Terrier inside a garbage container, and thanks to her the dog has been saved and is now recovering.

On Saturday, Nov. 21, 2014, Chicago-based animal rescue organization Trio Animal Foundation (TAF) was called to rescue a black Labrador puppy that had been surrendered by a mentally unstable man. The man feared he was going to kill the pup, but before he did something he would later regret, he reached out for help.

Meagan Peman was visiting Thailand when she came across a stray dog on a beach dragging his body. She had no idea what was wrong with the pet, but she knew she couldn’t left him there to his own fate.

It’s just dumb luck that Lucy Rockdale happened to have her camera on at the moment she met Rio the dog and turned his life around so completely.

Fresno man William Weir helped police make a case against him and was arrested after he posted a video on Facebook of him instigating his pit bulls into attacking and killing a puppy.

Weir claims that the puppy was heading toward his scared daughter and that this was an isolated incident, but police don’t believe his story and think dog fighting has been going on at his residence for much longer.
